Our story
West End Construction is a new company. The hands behind it aren't new.
We opened in 2026 after 40 years in the construction industry. That's a lot of decks, a lot of fences, and a lot of lessons about what holds up in our part of the country and what doesn't.
We started West End to do the work the way we think it should be done: a narrow focus on composite decking and fencing, straight pricing, and a crew that answers the phone, answers emails, and finishes what it starts.
We serve homeowners across Western Maryland and Pennsylvania. It's where we live and work, and we want every job we do here to be one the neighbors ask about.

West End Construction is licensed and insured, so you're protected while we work on your property. Ask for proof of coverage anytime; we're happy to send it along with your estimate.

We're a Platinum Trex Partner. Trex composite decking is at the center of what we do, and we install it to Trex's guidelines so your deck is built the way the manufacturer intends.

How we work
Our pricing is published on this site. If wood suits your yard better than composite, we'll say so, even though composite is the bigger job.
Footings, framing, and fasteners are the parts you never see, and the parts that decide how long a deck or fence lasts.
We answer estimate requests generally within 24 hours, and we keep you posted from the first visit to the final walk-through.
It's your yard. We keep the work area tidy while we build and leave it clean when we're done.
